What it is
Trading, quotes and historical market data are all offered free, which is unusual. It is frequently recommended for the depth of its historical data, and it is the cheapest credible starting point if cost is the binding constraint.
The important caveat for options traders: free historical data is not the same as expired-contract history. We could not confirm Fyers serves history for expired options contracts, so an options backtest that needs those series will hit a wall here.
“Free” API offers are competitive tactics and can change. Confirm current terms before you build a dependency on them.
